I want to thank everyone who attended the Margery West seminar yesterday. It was a lot of fun and think everyone learned a tremendous amount.  I know I did.  Several club members mentioned they would like to see another seminar like this one.  So maybe down the line we can. ~ Sherry Gibbany

Please bookmark page and check for updates to days & times. These depend on when people are available to help train and the fairgrounds are open to us.

 Saturday  October 31st starting at 11am for conformation and Noon for obedience/rally practice runs .  Bring your own crates, water, snacks/lunch and dogs!

Training Classes

Conformation Training Workshops are being offered in Harrison by a former pro-handler at 5pm Wednesday evenings at the Fairgrounds. Contact Dara Wilcox - See above for updates.

Competitive Obedience/Rally Workshops are being offered by Sherry Gibbany at 6pm Wednesday evenings. See above for updates.

NAKC works with the North Arkansas College in Harrison to offer dog obedience classes (CGC Testing available to each team finishing the the Basic Obedience Class) at the North Arkansas District Fairgrounds in the blue building. Agility classes, sign up through the college, are offered  to the community with the classes held at Old Capps Rd in Harrison.  New Training Class: The AKC  S.T.A.R. Puppy Program (Puppy Kindergarten) is now offered through the college. These classes are part of NAKC's ongoing work with our community to offer affordable, quality training, with an experienced and multi-titled dog trainer. Contact Sherry Gibbany for more information and starting dates for the classes.
